BOTS is an easy-to-use BACnet regression testing tool for Windows. BOTS runs under Windows 7/8/10, and Server 2012. It provides a robust set of regression tests based on the 135.1 standard, including BTL additional tests and PolarSoft's own developer-oriented tests. BOTS includes many features tailored to the needs of QA Testers and product developers, at a price that's lower than competing systems that cost more than ten times as much.

 

BOTS uses our newest seventh-generation 64 bit native CBQ technology to deliver fast and reliable performance. BOTS works with BACnet/IP over Ethernet, and you can even use MS/TP through USB or any standard serial COM port, with an external EIA-485 converter. For legacy applications, you can use Ethernet 8802-3 with NDIS-compliant drivers.

 

Relevant BOTS tests are determined automatically based on the implementation under test (IUT). These tests are displayed in a tree structure that allows you to choose specific tests to be performed. Test results are immediately available and show the test result smmary that includes intuitive color coding and pass/fail indication along with test notes. Each test references the relevant 135.1 or BTL test clause. The results can also be saved in various forms such as an HTML test summary.
